Plugin Library

Individual plugins included with the R:BASE Plugin Power Pack include:

• Agent - allows you to add an animation character to your R:BASE application
• GetCommonFolder - captures common operating system folders used frequently by applications
• GetFileExt - captures the file extension of a particular file
• GetFileLockStatus - captures the lock status of a specified file
• GetFileSize - captures the size of a particular file
• GetTimeStamp - captures the date and time stamp of a particular file
• GetTimeZoneInfo - captures the time zone information, returning local and UTC values
• HTTP - performs POST and GET Hypertext Transfer Protocol communication to a server, to submit data, acquire files, return sizes for available files, and more
• LoadFileNamePlusPlus - loads a file name into a variable by displaying a dialog window for the user to browse the operating system and returns a list of values for the number of files selected, the different files and paths, the file extensions, date and time stamp, and the file sizes.
• OutlookMail2 - opens a email dialog window and passes the parameters to send a message directly through MS Outlook
• OutlookMail3 - passes the email message parameters to Outlook, which are then displayed as a new outgoing message
• OutlookMail4 - passes the email message parameters and automatically sends the email message through MS Outlook
• MapiMail2 - opens the MAPI email dialog window and passes the parameters to send a message through your email client program
• MapiMail3 - passes the MAPI email parameters directly to your email client program, which are then displayed as a new outgoing message
• MapiMail4 - passes and sends a MAPI email directly through your email client program
• Num2Word - converts a number to it's written out text value
• RAudioPlayer - plays audio files supporting the following formats: MP3, WMA, AVI, WAV, and MDI
• RBFileOperations - performs various file operations and automated file management tasks with the enhancements of silent mode; to hide the progress window, undo; to reverse any changes made, and confirmation; for when an action is made.
• RColorDialog - displays a color palette in order to allow end users to choose custom colors for their environment
• RColumnAnalyzer - analyzes the common column names in One-to-Many and/or Many-to-Many table relationships within your R:BASE database
• RDocToRTF - converts MS Word .DOC data to bare RTF
• RExpressionExtractor - extracts your list of expressions from any of your R:BASE forms, reports and labels
• RFindFiles - finds and captures a list of file names which match a specified search criteria, including file content scan capabilities
• RFontPicker - displays a font picker dialog containing fonts installed on a computer; allowing end users to choose custom fonts for their environment
• RHTMLtoRTF - converts HTML data to bare RTF format with both file and variable input types as well as file and variable output
• RHTMLtoTXT - converts HTML data to plain text format with both file and variable input types as well as file and variable output
• RID3Tag - obtains MP3 file information
• RInstanceCount - returns an integer value of running sessions for a given executable
• RMeasurementConversion - a handy measurement conversion utility to convert any value of measurement to another within a type of scale
• RPDFDocInfo - captures information within PDF documents including title, subject, author, keywords, creator, and producer
• RRegistry - allows access to the operating system registry from within R:BASE giving the ability to read, write, check, and delete keys within the registry
• RRowSize - captures the row size for a given table in a defined database
• RRTFtoTXT - converts RTF data to plain text format with both file and variable input types as well as file and variable output
• RSearchAndReplace - searches and replaces characters within a specified file
• RTextToRTF - converts plain text to bare RTF
• RTimeLapse - provides days, hours, minutes, and milliseconds between two provided date and time values
• RWCount - captures the number of words within a Word document
• TextArt - generate text graphic images
• XLSSheets - captures the number of sheets or a sheet name based on the index within an Excel spreadsheet

R:BASE 11 Plugins use the .RBM file extension and are only supported for R:BASE 11.
