Introduction

Runtime allows users of R:BASE to run R:BASE applications, eliminating the need for providing the entire R:BASE program for each user of an application. If you are an application developer, Runtime lets you offer your clients a less expensive and disk-space saving product. Runtime also allows a user to add or modify data in the database while protecting the database structure from inadvertent changes.

Runtime Features

  • Fully compatible with RBA Applications
  • Fully compatible with custom form applications
  • Protects your applications, forms, reports and tables from user modification
  • Supports both single and multi-user (local area network) applications
  • Supports an unlimited number of users for each network application

  • Data Dictionary ([F3] hot key)

  • DEFF
  • FORMS
  • HELP
  • LIST
  • LIST ACCESS
  • QUERY
