DOCUMENT #715 ======================================================================= HOT TIP: CUT AND PASTE IN R:BASE ======================================================================= PRODUCT: R:BASE VERSION : 3.1 or Higher ======================================================================= CATALOG: RBEDIT AREA : General ======================================================================= There are many ways to "cut" in R:BASE. Use the SNAP command or the Take a Snapshot option from the Ctrl-F1 menu or use a third party program that cuts part of the screen and stores it in a file. If you are using Windows (an running R:BASE in a window, not full screen), you can cut and paste using the Windows clipboard. "Pasting" is the same regardless of how you "cut". Any ASCII file can be pasted into R:BASE using the CTRL-F1 menu and the Playback a script option. The playback option writes the text of the specified file at the current cursor location. You can paste into files open in RBEDIT, into form and report text, into form and report expressions, and onto the browse/edit screen. SET BELL OFF before you start. Each line of the file has a CR/LF which acts like an [Enter] when it's played back.
