Launching the Data Designer to create a new table or to edit an existing table can also be performed directly within the Database Explorer window using the Group Bar. The Group Bar is the vertical menu on the left side of the Database Explorer window which provides direct access to all modules in the R:BASE environment. Select the "Tables" option from the Group Bar to view the available options, which will present the following list:

GB_Tables

(Note: With an existing table selected, all of the above selections become enabled.)

To launch the Data Designer and create a new table, select "New Table..." from Group Bar options. New tables may also be created using the Table Wizard. To design an existing table, select "Design Table..." from Group Bar options. You will then enter the Data Designer module to create/design your table definition.
