The "Find in Custom EEPs" feature opens a search utility to locate specific text within Custom EEPs for the connected database. The functionality to search for text within Custom EEPs allows users to locate specific commands, messages for PAUSE or DIALOG commands, or column names that may have changed. Any text defined within a Custom EEP will be used in the search.
When searching for text within Custom EEPs, text strings can be located within the following modules:
•Forms
•Reports
•Labels
•External Forms
•Applications
Searching for text can include all listed items displayed at the Database Explorer, or just a selected few. For example, selecting ten out of fifty forms, and selecting the "Find in Custom EEPs" option will search for text within just the ten selected forms.
The "Find in Custom EEPs" dialog can be launched from the Database Explorer, or from within any of the designers (e.g. Form Designer, Report Designer, Label Designer, etc.). The key combination [Ctrl]+[F] can also be used used to launch the "Find in Custom EEPs" dialog.
