When running an application, R:BASE provides you with a list of applications in the current directory, and the option to browse the computer for other files. These options are presented to you when you run an application from the Database Explorer, or from the R:BASE Main Toolbar.
The R:BASE Run Application utility is equivalent to using the LAUNCH command.
