After making changes to your existing backup project or creating new projects, always save your work. R:Backup script files are saved with the .rtb file extension.

 

To save any changes you make to an existing script, you can perform either of the available options:

 

Choose "File" > "Save Script" from the menu bar

 

Select the "Save Script" button from the Toolbar

 

 

To save any changes you make to an existing project as another project name, you can perform either of the available options:

 

Choose "File" > "Save Script As..." from the menu bar

 

Select the "Save Script As..." button from the Toolbar

 

 

To execute a displayed script to create databases backups, you can perform either of the available options:

 

Choose "Task" > "Execute" from the menu bar

 

Select the "Execute" button from the Toolbar

 

 

After a backup project is executed, the progress window will be displayed. If any errors occur during the backup process they will also be displayed at this time.
