Frames

Scroll Prev Top Next More

For each tile, any number of frames can be provided that will be displayed one after another, similar to slides, with various animation effects. If the tile collection contains at least one frame, the item's text and graphics settings are ignored to display frames only. Use the Animation Interval and Animation Mode properties to customize frame animation options. The frame animation plays only if the item's Gallery Images property is unassigned.

Static and Dynamic Frames

Static frames contain properties which will not change at runtime. Dynamic frames consist of properties which can be mapped to a dataset (table and column names), whose values are dynamically displayed and refreshed at runtime.

Templates

As it can be cumbersome (using a table) to set the many available properties of dynamic frames, template support was introduced, where static properties of the frame can be created with customized color, style, font, etc. formats, to serve as a pattern. Within the dynamic property settings, a menu option is available to select a defined frame template (static frame). The frame used as a template will not be displayed at runtime, only the dynamic objects will appear with the customized template properties.
